Underlay

There are two different types of underlay that you can install under your laminated flooring.

Combi - Underlay - this is the standard underlay consisting of black or blue plastic and aerothene foam. It is used on normal, level floors.

Rubberlay -this is a rubber underlay that provides excellent thermal insulation, keeping rooms both cooler in summer and warmer in winter. It has accoustic dampening qualities providing noise
reduction, and assists in minor floor levelling.
To a certain level it also provides insulation against moisture and dampness.
HINT: Black building plastic should still be used with rubberlay as a moisture barrier

Sweep the floor with a soft broom, or a vacuum cleaner can be used.
Never use excessive or very hot water. This can damage the floorboards and water damage is not covered by the warranty.

Marks and dirt and be wiped off using a non abrasive cleaner and a soft cloth.
Laminated flooring is a finished product, and should never be treated with wax or varnish.
